What our Men do at Trace Creek
as their ministry service
Men's
Fraternity is a series of three-one-year long studies, beginning with The Quest
for Authentic Manhood, followed by Winning at Work and Home, and ends with The
Great Adventure. Men's Fraternity provides men with an encouraging process that
teaches them how to live lives of authentic manhood as modeled by Jesus Christ
and directed by the Word of God.
Our men
are also involved with helping those in need of help with repair to their
homes,
such as plumbing, electrical, demolition or roofing repairs. If you are a
handyman or do-it-yourselfer, then this may be a place of ministry for you.
There are others who are interested in
disaster relief and have been certified in order to serve in this capacity.
If you may be interested in serving in this area of work contact Billy Ray Lowe
or Scott White. Visit the tnbaptist.org website for information on disaster
relief.
Baptist Men's Day is celebrated each
year, now in June, starting the day out with a breakfast meal and devotional
time with a guest speaker. The morning worship service is conducted
entirely by the men of the church. Several of the men give their testimony or
what God has led them to speak about. This is an event that the entire church
looks forward to. Men, come and join us on this special day and participate as
God leads you.
Another group of men meet each Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m. for prayer. This
group prays for the concerns of the church, community, world, missionaries,
government leaders, sick, needy and they give thanks for all that God does for
us.
Are you a motorcyclist or have an
interest in motorcycles ? We have men in our church who have these
interests and use it as a ministry tool to reach others. They associate
themselves with a group known as the Christian Motorcycle Association (CMA).
If you would like to join this group of men, contact Billy Joe Brown or John
Curtis for information about this ministry or click on the CMA logo below.
